Ideally, this activity should be run at least over a whole period (50 minutes or more). Our restriction on time limited the amount of discovery learning that took place and the chances for students to develop rigorous strategies and explain them to the other groups. The increase in time limit would allow for groups to perhaps develop more of an idea of the strategies that could be adopted as Player B, as well as share their strategies to the other groups or class.
